@TheVRBartender I had a few designs before that were more military-based, but they felt kinda not my style, but once I made the one people see with slicked-back hair and a big coat, the rest was history
@TheVRBartender I have an awesomely talented buddy that I was already doing art for, so I asked him to draw me a PNG model. Financially free art is always great and it gave me the freedom to debut a lot earlier than I originally planned to.
@TheVRBartender Always loved watching superheroes since I was a kid, decided to be a superhero that spreads light. This is my Halloween outfit that reference disco era superheros :D
I might do a VRChat stream today! Waiting on the headset, but we'll get there!
I want to start doing more outreach and getting people's stories!
Also, going to take my content a bit more seriously how due to some financial strain.
And I'm not downplaying the winners or nominees. They put a TON of work into their content, they're genuinely okay people, and have made strides in the VTuber community. But seeing the same faces EVERY SINGLE TIME and noticing a pattern? That's when things get a little disheartening.
I feel that The Streamer Awards are just like a big promo event for larger VTubers. And it's always the same top runners. I haven't seen a single small indie up ever.
And I get it: it's possible that they didn't get enough votes to get noticed. But what about people who have already won? Like let's give them their roses, then they're removed from the cycle for a few years to let others get their roses.
