@LPSimcox That would be one of the most ludicrous decisions i've seen us make. Billy would be brought in well down the coaching order not as an assistant manager and tactical planning role. Knilly will be wanting to retire as he's hinted at previously.
@RhodziLad@robstaton@SheffUNews He's nowhere near the level of this job, he could come in further down the tree but he quite rightly shouldnt even be in this conversation.
Understand the expected departure of Alan Knill is part of a broader reshuffle of the coaching staff at Sheffield United and not an ownership decision. Believe Guilherme Ramos also departing. At least one new face will be added to the staff. #SUFC
Seeing fans linking Knilly going with Basham or Billy coming back. They aren't anywhere near that level of coaching job or experience. Not saying they wouldn't come in much further down the tree but neither would be anywhere near his job and rightly so.

@tedbranston@rmwatchorn@robstaton We have made even worse decisions previously and had huge chunks of our wage bill tied up on the treatment table. Why is it just last window thats the issue?
@tedbranston@robstaton You dont release a player and pay up their full contract you try and realise some financial return. We'd go bust in one window if you were doing our transfer window it seems.
@scottkeira13@robstaton Just out of interest Scott what makes you think that? The only information thats new is Jairo hasnt been renewed on his current deal.
@_callumfowler Id rather they made mistakes instead of 15 mins of backwards and forwards slow-mo footage "clear and obvious" has become a full forensic investigation mid game...... VAR can get in the bin.
I dont watch prem football much at all anymore but whenever I do it reminds me how much I hate VAR. Just make a decision and carry on I dont want 15 mins of frame by frame slow-mo's.
π¨ OUT NOW ON THE PINCH
We've just published a long read: "Sheffield United 25/26: a season review in stats".
Mammoth effort by @sam__joseph. Keen to hear any thoughts or questions. A lot in there. Inevitably, a lot is missing too.
