Note that it's not The Vault doing this but changes in how iOS handles opening of documents that do not have fixed app assigned to open them.

@TypicalF1er Without the master passcode access is not possible - it is not simply denied - it is technically impossible to derive the decryption key without the master passcode

The Vault for Mac is *not* going anywhere .

If you use The Vault on your Mac and see the message… don’t worry, that is about a similar sounding Dropbox feature and has nothing to do with The Vault.

The Vault for Mac (and iOS) is here to stay.
