As a mega X-Men fan (comics, TV show, movies) I enjoyed Wolverine a lot. The gameplay/gameplay loop is incredible. I do now understand people's gripes with the story...

**STORY SPOILERS**

Hated the way they did Jean Grey at the end...Phoenix is a stopping point for her, not a beginning. Definitely shouldn't have led with that.

The rest of the story is okay with it, I vibed with it. I just hated the way they did Phoenix. Everything else makes total sense in a universe thats seperated from the other Marvel Universes. (For what it's worth I think its important they tell a different story than whats already established in the lore, this just is not the way to do Phoenix).

After completing the game, taking story into account, 8.3/10.

Would have been MUCH higher if the final 20 minutes were handled differently. I didn't even mind the Phoenix *tease* during one of the memories, but you don't bring her front and center in the first game.

Coming from someone who loved @OnimushaGame and Wolverine...

The gameplay loop is EXTREMELY similar so its bizarre to me seeing how "gaming journalists" reviewed both.

Same reviewers who called Onimusha "bloated" are calling Wolverine "too short".

It's actually pretty selfish to assume accessiblity options enabled by default is for every gamer.

I feel like being ahead in accessiblity is removing the obstacles for anyone that needs those obstacles removed. It took me .02 seconds to disable/enable the settings I wanted for my Wolverine playthrough.

Anyways, video games are for everyone.
