@SheepeyDarkness Yeah, going all in would've been nice too. While coordination is *hard* I'm sure there could at least be designing tips given.
Or they could have made a new internal team that pools the knowledge of how to make a good open world game on the Switch.
@SheepeyDarkness TBF, any Pokemon game will sell well it seems. Unfortunately I just don't see sprites making a comeback with 3D being seen as the ideal to strive for even if it isn't the right tool for the job.
Just sad that the Pokemon look lifeless when the Wii had nicer 3D fights.
@SheepeyDarkness They're part owners so I doubt they couldn't get the time they need if they asked up front, but I do get not being able to delay because all the other stuff needs to keep going too. Can't have the new Pokemon out without the games like Halo Infinite's promotion items.
@SheepeyDarkness As much as I love sprite based graphics I wonder how well a "big" game would sell with those in this day and age. But there's way's to spruce them up like Octopath Traveler did, or go hard on style like Link's Awakening did. Like the DP remakes but good.
@SheepeyDarkness I'll probably get it at some point myself, but I do find it hard to muster enthusiasm after constantly getting disappointed.
"It's not as bad as the last one" is the rallying cry of the defeated, but since SwoSh sold well it'll keep happening.
Follow-up on this, here's a quick tutorial on how to play #HaloInfinite Splitscreen Coop using a menu glitch found by @Zeny_IC!
(Kinda low effort, but it's 2AM, I'm tired, and it does contain everything you need to know to DIY! ๐)
While 343 being disappointing I suppose them canceling split screen was only expected. Selling on promises is easy, though I wonder if they'll have success with the next venture.
I don't get why people get up just to stand in line when boarding. Much more chill sitting until the last second and then strolling in and pretty much immediately sit down again.
