The prices of 10 litres of petroleum in 4 countries including Nigeria when converted to Naira.

🇬🇧 UK: ₦30,500
🇨🇦 Canada: ₦16,750
🇺🇸 USA: ₦15,000
🇳🇬 Nigeria: ₦14,000

Now this is where it gets interesting, basically the real issue is purchasing power. Nigeria's fuel may look cheaper after conversion, but it can be more expensive for the average Nigerian relative to what they earn.

Now Imagine someone earns ₦300,000 per month and spends let’s say 5-10 litres everyday which is ₦7000 - ₦14,000 on fuel every day:

₦7,000 × 30 =₦210,000/month
Or
₦14,000 × 30 = ₦420,000/month just on fuel depending on the distance of your home to workplace.

That is literally more than the entire ₦300,000 income.

@AlikoDangote Please make things easy for people.

You go think say your car dey chop fuel, that’s what I thought too, until I realized I’ve been buying 10 litres for ₦14,000 every day. 😭
Hopefully, fuel prices reduce soon.

"President Tinubu will complete all four of these legacy projects within the next three years by God's special grace. But the question we have not answered is: if we had continued borrowing money for subsidy, if we had left the naira the way it was, where the rich had access to the dollar while the poor did not, and if we didn't have a real exchange rate, where would we have been?"

To our fans, our university and everyone who believed in us. Today hurt not just because we lost but because we don’t only represent ourselves but you as well. I take full responsibility for the moment I had. There’s no excuse and I won’t hide from it. We go again on Wednesday.

you asked me, Fawaz, are you not playing #lagoslife? I said no, and what your slow brain came up with was, "I'm forming maturity."
I checked out the game and it simply doesn’t excite me. how does that mean I'm forming maturity? all of us can’t find interest in the same thing.

Despite Seyi Makinde being in opposition to Tinubu, Tinubu has not stopped supporting Oyo State.

Tinubu just approved two military battalions in Oyo State.

This is democracy at its finest.

Opposition shouldn’t stop a state’s progress.

Thank you for setting an example, Tinubu.
