I think we're going to see a macro environment where Bitcoin drops to near $60k before bouncing back up for the cycle long upside.
Until then, I'm holding onto $13k in USDC waiting to buy more @monad
The Total Value Locked on @monad is now approaching new highs, with sustained backing
Look forward to new all-time highs on the price of the token soon
@coingecko@monad is an excellent merger of the speed that we loved in $SOL, with the tech that we loved from $ETH
Instantaneous EVM would have saved me thousands in transaction fees buying @BoredApeYC@OthersideMeta NFTs
Can't wait to see where they go from here
Please make sure to verify with me if you think that I was in a conference call
I will always announce upcoming dates for public events
People are always trying to scam to get ahead. Trust nobody, including your grandma
I've had a friend, someone who I've known in the space for a super long time. They messaged asking if I was currently in a conference call this lovely scammer @RobtechGit said I was in/part of. I am not. I will never been in a random conference, I will always share on my socials if Im ever doing a podcast, talkshow etc.
Don't Download links from people on the internet asking you to join a call,
Do not link any wallets or anything like that
Do not sign anything
Don't interact with random drops
DO always be super careful in these situations and research
I don't know what this person is attempting to do but I am not part of this, I am not in this conference and I doubt some of the others showing as being there are actually them, they most likely took our profile pictures to lure people in.
@slotER609@coingecko@monad I like SOL. I've worked in SOL. I've worked on platforms built on ETH too
It's not about how much money is currently in the ecosystem. Technologically, it's harder to move from ETH to SOL. It's copy-paste to move it to Monad
You can't compare a 6 month old chain to a 6 year one
@slotER609@coingecko@monad Monad is the exact same friction for users as Solana or ETH, with the compatibility to absorb all of the ETH ecosystem at the speed of SOL.
It's everything SOL wanted to be, except easier for developers to escape to from ETH.
@kbjzz@messeduppcs I worked remote for 6 straight years.
You can check your email and zoom call on your phone. You do the real work on your computer.
Excel? Phone. Slideshow? Phone. Call? Phone.
Real work happens on your desktop. Fast work happens on your laptop on the plane and you spend $500
@kbjzz@messeduppcs "Oh, I want a slower computer so that I can leave the house with it once a month"
Stupid, for anyone who wants to actually save time in their life.
If you are not a power user and you have no idea how hardware works, it's much more practical not to own a laptop for this function You're a nerd, maybe you know. This tweet wasn't for you. Stop being autistic. I know, I'm one of you. Imagine you're an average user for 5 seconds
@kbjzz@messeduppcs OK, so you're saying that if I use a PC plugged in all day long (as this user clearly had), they should stop and make sure that they unplug their computer and only charge it to 80% regularly every day, instead of just use a desktop?
Get real. Think about their usage.
@kbjzz@messeduppcs IDK man, google it. I worked with these technologies for decades and the fundamentals of the battery have not changed.
Silicon batteries changed the fundamentals, but what's inside your laptop isn't fixed by a capacitor in your charger getting loaded.
Calendar Aging is real.
@kbjzz@messeduppcs So what you're saying is: If the Protective circuit fails, your battery degrades just like they always have, and you should have purchased a desktop for this type of usage
Just buy a desktop if you want to be plugged in all the time. Buy a laptop separately if you want to unplug
@GuessWhoDE@messeduppcs What you're describing is a compute function, not possible from the battery itself. The battery will still degrade at an accelerated rate if you leave the laptop plugged in all the time.
