@Poncia_N@SpokespersonRSA Kagame is one of the last African political leaders still under imperialist influence. Africa must liberate itself, even if it means uniting to break free from this state of subjugation.
The truth is undeniable, the SA army has surrendered, and M23 is disarming them. Today's portfolio committee meeting has been postponed simply because the Minister of Defence chose not to appear. We cannot stand by and be complicit in this situation; we must take a stand and demand the immediate withdrawal of our soldiers from the DRC. It is imperative that we increase the military budget, and all military equipment tenders must be halted without delay. Denel must be empowered with the mandate to produce military equipment, and our soldiers must undergo re-training before considering redeployment. We will not accept anything less.
"Mr Chairman, Your Excellencies, I want us that for whatever we are saying and whatever we intend to do we capture the context rightly and then proceed based on that, and maybe we can get somewhere. Otherwise if we keep saying good things to each other, being nice, and then each one fulfilling their own interests other than the common interests we have as East Africans, then I donât see how we are going to contribute effectively to finding a solution.
The other day, two or three days ago, we lost people, there was a lot of shelling from eastern Congo, from Goma, killed a dozen people and injured hundreds. We will definitely take care of that, there is no question about it." President Kagame | Extra Ordinary Summit of EAC Heads of State on Eastern DRC.
