The proposed new name for The W has been announced. It will now go to the legislature as a bill and will go into effect July 1 if approved and signed into law.

We are incredibly sad at the passing yesterday of Assoc. Professor Emeritus Thomas Micheal (Mike) Longton, an unflagging advocate for Spanish language and culture on campus and in the community and a friend to everyone he met. He will be sorely missed!
