[Katara turned quickly as she wasn't expecting any company tonight. She looked up at the feline woman above her. Instinctively going to a slight defensive stance, unsure of the others intentions]

"And what exactly would those type of people be?"

"I wouldn't have offered it if I wasn't okay with it, Zuko. Would it make you ease your nerves if I gave you an actual direct kiss?"

[Katara's eyes scanned over Zuko's body. She felt a heat rise into her cheeks and decided to counter the flirt with her own]

"Take me out afterwards. Until then focus on the moment."

[The point to the sweat on his body was a tempting idea. It would be easy to bend the water +

"Katara, you know I'm a man of honor. I'd never shame you by going easy. Plus, getting here was tiring and I'm sweating so you have the edge now."

[Katara ate her bun preciously and with some resistance to devour the whole thing. After two bites she exhaled and it was clear the food was burning her tongue with a spiciness she didn't expect.]

"I think I understand why Aang loves these so much."

+ Halfway through his Firecracker Bun, Zuko found himself staring at Katara with no regrets or apologies. She was more than just beauty, she was cosmic. He soaked in the sight more than his culinary delight.

"A doll, a kiss... nothing will be good enough in your place, Katara."

+ along her forehead. She wiped it away and laughed a little embarrassingly. She went to go take another bite but stopped when she saw Zuko staring at her.]

"Zuko?"

[She said. She blushed and smiled, handing him the other half of her pastry]

"You want it? It's very good +

"Just let me know whenever you're ready and we'll begin. Again thanks for coming. If I had to sit into one more meeting to listen to people older than me argue over policies I was going to break something."

[Katara was tying her hair back as Zuko arrived. She smiled and waved back at him. Her eyes falling on the bounty of food he brought with him as well]

"Hey Zuko! Thank you for accepting my invitation!"

[She removed her boots, letting her bare feet plant against the grass +

+ Zuko dropped a few baskets and bags of food and water, namely fruits from his own nation and some cold jugs of water with ice which he had carried on his back and hands.

"I know you already brought food and water. I just wanted us to be prepared in case we stay here a while."

"Saying you won't go on easy on me? I figured a man like you would try to take me out in one attack."

"I uhhh... hope all good things?"

[She winked again, enjoying his blushing face. She took his hand and led him to the stand selling the famous Firecracker Buns. They smelled as delicious as they looked]

[Katara looked down at the figurine of Zuko. Her thumb stroking along it as she admired it]

"You're the Fire Lord. I'm just a water tribe healer."

[She handed the vendor two coins to pay for the figurines and pushed one gently into Zuko's hands. She let her hand fold over +

+ "Wait, you wanna buy one for yourself too?" He snickered as he asked it.

"Why do you want one? Do you have a matching set to go with it, or is it just something to keep me around? I know I don't want one for myself without one of you to match."

Once again, Zuko was blushing.

"If they ever make a figurine of me I'll make sure you are the first to have one. As for the other... yeah. Think of it like a part of you to be with me while we apart."
