@ggreenwald The Catholics, Jews, and Mormons are essentially the same groups. They band together for their own common good, first. They all have issues, but any of them controlling the media is far better than the commies.
I actually respect Mormons for a lot of the work yall do. It's pretty impressive the way the Mormon church can mobilize in times of need. From my brief reading on requirements of Mormons, I don't doubt Mormons would likely score better on many questions regarding scripture. Interested in some salvation specific questions, though. Which salvation do you believe the thief is in? And if you came to my door and I believed in Jesus right then and there, which salvation would I reach if I immediately died right after you left?
@PInvararity@audeque84@ggreenwald@Oleblueyes9000@Nbell3 If you don't already understand the reason behind arguments like this, then explaining it further will not help. Also, it is exactly what is wanted by the party distracting away from the actual discussion.
You are hammering down the fact that Raman gave a concession speech without saying the words "I concede". That was a concession speech. She never said words that would be typical of a currently trailing candidate with a sliver of hope like "This is not over" or "There is still hope". But go ahead, stand tall on the fact that she did not say "I concede."
@ggreenwald@Oleblueyes9000@Nbell3 You're arguing like a liberal by addressing THIS certain issue, and not the main issue, so that the main issue loses credibility. Stop that nonsense. Get back to actual journalism.
@PastorDScott@JaimeLardis Nothing says you're a black supremacist more than trying to compare Angel and CC 🤣🤣 Such a lack of ball knowledge to even go there.
Very true. It's all over. Parents have been slowly giving up their duties to the schools/state and letting others raise/influence their kids. But that just goes to show that it is a human heart issue and not based on race at all. The issues will get worse and worse based on the amount of generations that go through without true parental involvement.
More whataboutism without saying anything. My words have been simple. Ask inner city teachers how many parents show up to conferences. There you will see a lack of parental involvement is a major issue. And if the Bible tells us to look inward first then that's what I'll do and that's what I'll encourage others to do.
100% one of the goals of the left is to take the roles of the parent and give them to the state. They have been incredibly successful with that through massive entitlements and schools expansion of typical parental roles. All along the way, though, parents have CHOSEN to give those responsibilities away to the state. The state is a problem, but they only have power because parents have willingly allowed them to take it. Even with that massive issue, if your child is acting like an idiot, the primary reason for that will almost always be the parents and not the state. Encouraging others to avoid blame and accountability is another major tactic of the left, aka victimhood culture, and conservatives should NEVER partake in that. It's unbiblical and evil just like the indoctrination is.
@DTheKingpin@SonnieJohnson@notaproviderMD If conservatism isn't Biblically based then it's not conservatism. You will not find a passage that talks about blaming the state before you take an inward look at your own family. And for what's it worth, I have words that were put in my head by my own experiences.
Yeah, I can definitely agree there should be no reason young kids are failing school. There are definitely issues needed to address at schools, but I would blame that mostly on the admin and school boards, and not the teachers themselves. (Bad teachers definitely exist, though, I can expand on our experience with that if you'd like) Teachers can't discipline kids being unruly and many parents won't either. Teachers are forced to deal with kids whose parents didn't teach them how to act and that leads to disruptions and an inability to teach. They can't get a hold of parents and if they do too many don't care.
All that said, I got to see firsthand what happens when you simply pick up a kid struggling at school and make sure he is in class nearly everyday... He crushed his end of year report cards!
@notaproviderMD@DTheKingpin@SonnieJohnson Encouraging people to blame others for one's household is the actually the biggest obstacle in the fight against leftism. Ironically, you're wearing the same boots the white democrats do when you do that.
I can recognize @notaproviderMD point while still insisting that parents will almost always be the main issue.
That should be the basis of conservatism... taking an inward look, first. Blaming all your problems on the state is exactly what liberals do. But blaming things out of our immediate control is a lot more profitable for clicks, hence the grift.
So you're saying parents are the problem here, right? Sonny made it about race and the state. I'm making it about parents first. Then keep fighting as parents to keep the schools in check and also keep battling the state. Walking and chewing gum is one of the keys here. The main key is taking an inward look first.
