@elfhybrid_ And we were there for all 5 days. We had an absolute blast that week. There's freebies at certain booths and certain rooms/schedules, and just SO much to see, and many many great costumes, actors, authors, and toys and games. You'll all have a blast :-)

@elfhybrid_ I took my two kids to San Diego ComicCon when they were nearly 12 & 15. No cosplays. My two had to stay together and with either me or a friend of mine there, or at our agreed meeting spot - a large bright orange Nickelodean booth. Our first large con together. They did great!

@ScientistMel @mcskinner11 Oh, and yeah, definitely at the wake up, wipe the drool, and then find my upper body broken somewhere age. Go to bed with lower back hurting, wake up with my neck saying it's broken or my shoulder feels like I hit a brick wall overnight. Like, WTH, I slept great but DAMN!

@ScientistMel @mcskinner11 Woke up one morning in Feb and my entire left leg screamed with pain just putting my foot on the floor. Could hardly move the leg w/o pain in my glute. Tore a tendon overnight while sleeping. 1 wk in the hospital.

@DerekCBeland @RRollplaying Bonus points - he can build a 6-8' arch in 2 rounds and then he just throws bricks while standing in the arch. Surprisingly good arm too.

But he takes a penalty when throwing archless...and it takes a LOT to convince him.
