BREAKING | #wwfc | Raúl Jiménez 🚨

The Wolves Report understands that talks between Raúl Jiménez and the club have advanced significantly, paving the way for the Mexican striker to make a sensational return to Molineux.

César is understandably facing some heat today, as managers are the first ones questioned after a bad result.

However, we’ve seen this story unfold under these custodians multiple times in the past & until they go, this cycle will continue.

Different division, same incompetence.

You can change the recipe as much as you want, but if the main ingredient is rotten the outcome will keep disappointing.

With this squad this is almost as pure as it gets.

Now let’s put the purest theory into practice.

Up the Wolves!

After being so flat at Boro on Saturday, it would be nice to have a little shake up that sees many of those subs from the weekend starting.

If Lopez can’t start, it has to be either Mane or Bellegarde in the ten.

Surely James starts tonight.

Up the Wolves.

The skipper on point part two…

[Marc @Nocky1982]

If you want to "punch" your way out the league you sign a Will Lankshear not a Sean Neave. Time to start picking our best 11 which imo does not contain Doyle or Marshall

The skipper on point part one…

[Marc @Nocky1982]

No complaints about the result. Boro better all over the pitch. We've had 2 big test this season and failed them both

[Ryan Leister @MrRyanLeister]

#wwfc

Looking at the bigger picture, what was really exposed today was the quality in depth.

That’s not on Cesar, that’s on those who told the fans that we’d be punching our way out and that they have the backing of the board.

It’s not a bad squad, but it’s yet another window with zero investment from these very unserious custodians.

[Ryan Leister @MrRyanLeister]

#wwfc

It was a poor day for Wolves who looked blunt throughout.

Boro had an easy afternoon & in reality they didn’t even need to be that good to beat the visitors.

The biggest concern was the lack of creativity in the final third, it was all a bit one paced, flat & predictable.

[Ryan Leister @MrRyanLeister]

#wwfc | #MIDWOL

If everyone was available, it’s the same again.

However, if Lopez isn’t risked and Bellegarde/James can’t start either, who starts in the ten?

Doyle like in preseason?
Bring Mane inside? (Then who plays left)
Someone else?

Up the Wolves.

"Last season he was like a Reliant Robin. Now he's like a Bentley."

Nasser Djiga against West Brom was "as close to a 10/10 centre-back performance as I've seen from Wolves in a very long time."

A massive thank-you to @_AlwaysWolves & @wwfcfoundation for putting on another brilliant day.

Also a big thank-you to my team, who were tremendous.

Finally, wishing those who got injured at the tournament yesterday a speedy recovery.
