I try to make sense of social media, but the truth is I'm just a weird, lurking, geriatric Millennial/Xennial who doesn't really know wtf I'm doing here. Thanks @natedoesart for explaining this so well.

@HeroJamesLynch@PenSeawood Yes. My parents took me to Star Trek 2 or 3 when I was 2 or 3. But, the first movie I actually remember seeing in a theater was An American Tale at age 4.

@jamiattenberg I've experienced ghosts most frequently as vestiges of the living. Like, I once lived in a house that felt deeply haunted by an earlier version of myself who had absorbed the most traumatic aspects of my 12(ish) year long marriage.
@bizzycoy Also, for bigger procedures, there's crowdfunding. I've done this too (problematic though it is) and am just barely short of a goal I set for my medical fundraiser/book writing project: https://t.co/KeOoC6ftS9
@bizzycoy Basically, Grady is an example of small-scale socialized medicine. However, Exchange plans aren't affordable, & it's usually better to go without & pay the out of pocket rate at any hospital & fee to the IRS. Even if it's not advertised, most medical providers will work with you.
