@LoveWinsTruther In Marvel comics Henry Peter Gyrich is the first person ever to be given the title of Government Liaison to the avengers. Both Henry and Peter are names given for Vecna. In the TV series he's shown specifically to be head of the "Mutant Control Agency."
@LoveWinsTruther Okay, I need to do a full breakdown eventually, because I forgot one of the 4 prime subjects of the Weapon X project (the most successful ones) was Victor CREED. aka Sabertooth. Another of the prime four was named Silver Fox.
"It's as if a dam has burst." In the comics, this causes Wolverine to panic and flee no longer able to differentiate reality from brutally confusing implanted traumatic memory. This of course spun off into Wolverine's own comic in 1982
@LoveWinsTruther So one of the things that Noah said on a Episode 1 season 1 watch along is that the house interior was a set, right? What if the entire town of Hawkins is just a series of stage sets used to create and overwhelm with traumatic memory? (Thread in replies)
Professor X eventually puts a series of blocks in place to subdue Wolverine's memory and help him find a stability of self. Eventually the memories both implanted/false and real begin to overlap. The experience is so overwhelming that Professor X can't heal it saying....
@irl_madeleine@LoveWinsTruther Which will be completely amazing and awesome for every gay man who has ever been told that they were molested into being gay. If this is the new content it can pretty much disappear all the way up its own ass.
@LoveWinsTruther One primary thing that keeps getting overlooked because of how he acts in other more direct moments is how Mike covers his ears and struggles when Both El + Will are in danger S1 & S2. I have a theory that Mike and Will are fighting about how Mike sees himself.
@ode_to_icarus A movie about loneliness and connection resonating with the generation that feels the most isolated? And then showing a completely broken relationship that takes the volume to eleven? Suits are gonna misunderstand this so bad.
@mattxiv Or....and this is important....he's using backlash as cover for the fact that he realizes this can't even make a profit in the best case for 5-6 years at the earliest which by then the facility would need a massive tech overhaul.
