@elonmusk Solve this issue by simply making ONLY a 30 minute “spring forward” on the usual date scheduled for the 1 hr change next Spring. Make THAT 30 minute change permanent !!!
This will give every group half of what they want! Split the difference!

It’s been years since last post. Been asked by many to restart periodic updates on long-range wx outlook around the PNW.
For those new here, I have been forecasting PNW wx since 1979, lots of success & failures, for sure.
For the next 2 weeks:

@OregonStateExt@oregonbeeproj @ORagriculture A great scientist, communicator and friend. So many shared laughs, berry discussions, and small fruit industry solutions. Thank you, Bernadine. You will not be forgotten!
📍A note to ALL of us - wx geeks, scientists & PNW residents alike - pause, if you will, to ponder & experience what it is like to live through a truly historical period of wx all across the PNW. (Mushy, I know, but hey, it is beginning to unfold.)
For those asking ... here’s the KGMI Farm Show interview concerning the current PNW heat event which aired today.
For followers new to me, I have forecast long-range wx in the PNW for over 40 years.

If you have a clear sky to the east and you're up around and little before sunrise, see if you can find these four planets. Let the crescent moon be your guide. The lit side points toward the planets, the brightest of which is Jupiter. #kgwweather
