You're tying your reputation and the GSD project to the coin.
GSD the project and GSD the coin are so conflated that you can't even search X for discussion on the project without getting slapped in the face by a bunch of crypto bro speculative trading posts. It's very off-putting for a lot of people who would otherwise be interested in the project.
Sure maybe some people buying the coin have no expectation of returns and just want to support the project. I expect that would be the minority though.
What happens if the coin does pump to a crazy valuation? Early holders that got in before you even knew about the coin will dump on the newly influenced buyers.
The market is a zero-sum game so for every winner there is a loser, or multiple losers.
It's possible at some point there are gonna be a lot of losers and they're not going to want to take responsibility for their bad decisions. Conveniently you've made yourself and the GSD project a scapegoat for that.
Is it worth those people possibly losing a lot of money at the top of the market driven off hype and your promotion for $125k?
You've built something neat and I don't want to see you destroy it.
@official_taches My timeline ain't looking at your other tweets and I don't watch your live.
Fair enough then. I still don't think how much you're pushing this token is going to end well. Love the project though, well done on it.
@official_taches Glad to hear it. If you're committing to putting all the fees back into the token it defeats the point of the token. At that point it really is the definition of a memecoin.
@r1vencs@romer@Sherbet @P0LYG0NBets @dwmgm_ I stayed on to get them up to speed with the codebase. I haven't heard from or had anything to do with them in years now.
Sad to see this news
@VIILines In that case, hold the deposit amount until KYC and source of wealth. You let them gamble so pay out their winnings less their deposit. If anyone claims proceeds of crime you have their inital deposit to cover it.
