Kolkata Metro work was stalled for 15 years.

The only reason was that if the metro project had been completed, Narendra Modi would have inaugurated it, and Mamata Banerjee did not want that. Because the central government is building it.

Yes, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, which was working on the Kolkata Metro's rail line, had to build a bypass over a bypass, but that required a 15-day traffic stoppage.

15 years ago, RVNL sent a letter to the local administration asking them to stop traffic for 15 days. The TMC government did not stop the traffic!

4 more letters were sent, but traffic was not stopped.

After that, RBNL had to approach the High Court. The HC immediately ordered the West Bengal government to halt traffic so that the Metro project could be completed.

But Mamata Banerjee's stubbornness led her to appeal the High Court's decision to the Supreme Court.

When the Supreme Court ruled that traffic must be halted for 15 days, Mamata Banerjee filed a review petition.

And most surprisingly, no media outlet even reported the dirty game being played in West Bengal just to prevent Modi from inaugurating the project.

Millions of people in her own state were wasting their time stuck in traffic jams, but Mamata Banerjee's pride was paramount.

Then came the elections, and this issue was widely discussed.

Then the Mamata government was gone, and a project that had been stalled for 15 years was completed in just 15 days.

That's why I say that India's opposition is the biggest enemy of the country's development.

कोई केंद्र से मिली राहत सामाग्री जैसे टेंट और तिरपाल को जरुरतमंद को बांटने के बजाय बेच रहा है, तो किसी ने विकलांग को देने वाली व्हीलचेयर ही दबा ली, तो वहीं एक महारथी के खेतों से नोटों की बोरियां निकल रही हैं।

किसी के घर सोना यानी गोल्ड का बना बेड मिल रहा है। किसी का महलनुमा घर देखकर जनता दंग है। वहीं किसी के घर से कैश, गोला, बारूद और बंदूकें बरामद हो रही हैं।

बंगाल में चुनाव नतीजों के बाद ममता बनर्जी के धुरंधरों के कारनामे देखकर हैरानी हो रही है।

वैसे, ममता बनर्जी सरकार में विकास कार्य प्रगति पर तो था। बस लाभार्थी उनके "अपने" थे।

बाकी बची जनता, तो उसे आदत है। क्यों फिक्र करना?

A victory margin of 7 lakh+ in Diamond Harbour is not a statistic, it is a serious question mark on the credibility of elections in West Bengal under Mamata.

Former Presiding Officer Swapan Mandal has now described what many feared for years, a system where democracy was allegedly hijacked booth by booth to manufacture impossible margins for TMC.

According to his claims:
* Opposition supporters were allegedly stopped from voting, threatened, or pushed away from booths.
* EVM buttons of opposition candidates were reportedly covered, leaving voters with little or no choice.
* Proxy voting and fake voting in the names of dead or absent people allegedly ran unchecked.

Now ask yourself why Mamata Banerjee is so desperate to oppose the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

Because a clean voter list threatens the very machinery that allegedly sustains TMC’s electoral dominance. If duplicate, fake, dead and illegal entries are removed, the carefully built “Diamond Harbour model” starts collapsing.

Democracy cannot survive under fear, manipulation and organised rigging. West Bengal deserves free and fair elections, not TMC’s “Loottantra.”

Why was this project stalled for years?

Because the Mamata Banerjee government repeatedly denied permission for traffic diversion. RVNL had only sought night traffic blockades over two successive weekends to complete the work.

The moment the political obstruction ended, the work moved at speed.

For years, Bengal was told delays were “technical”. Turns out, the biggest technical problem was the TMC government itself.
