Few weeks ago, I found something mislabeled in a second hand shop. Turned out to be a box full of slides from Vietnam war (1968-1970). I managed to scan around 300. Here its a small selection of somebody's memories I bought for 5,99 🧵
Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
In Korea, wherever children gather, you will ALWAYS find this exact soccer ball.
Nobody knows who owns it, and it constantly spawns in the weirdest places.
But strangely enough, once you become an adult, you can almost never find it again.
The first generation to patrol the mobile colonies, and the last to be born planet-side would be wearing the COSMO ESK-1, and as the AIs assume more autonomy, so too would the idea of ONI Security fade, with CAT IV Cyborgs assuming all emergency military duties.
@A_Rice_Farmer The initial spray is bubbly, but after it settles down it matches the original surface. I didn't think to ask this earlier but are you applying it like spray paint to get an even coating?
@A_Rice_Farmer I grabbed it by the battery cap with my offhand and rotated it while spraying a layer on. Let it sit for 24 hours, then apply another layer of you think it needs one.
@A_Rice_Farmer I just used blue masking tape and an x-acto knife to cover up everything that wasn't rubber. When I first sprayed it I thought I put way to much but after letting it settle it turned out fine (Don't worry, I was overthinking it too since there weren't any guides or anything lmao)
