Why do some people find it so hard to understand that it's not that AI will create art, but that an artist using tools that employ AI can create art?

And please, let me set two things straight:

1/ I'm not talking about just writing a prompt and pressing a button. If you think that today's generative AI can only do that, then you know nothing John Snow.

2/ I'm not an artist, nor do I pretend to be one, nor does what I share intend to be art. What I like is design, playing with the tech, creating digital products, learning, and sharing knowledge. But just because I don't create art with AI doesn't mean that other artists can't use this tool, just as they would with any other (pencil, chisel, watercolor, their hand with red pigment in a cave...) and create art.

If you can't grasp this. If you don't even want to stop and think about it. Perhaps you're not as artistic-minded as you thought.
