The case for $NEAR to $100: Highlights
The article highlights NEAR's unique position among Layer 1 blockchains, not because it chases the latest trends or quick liquidity, but because it’s playing the long game and building scalable infrastructure that stands the test of time.
This commitment to lasting value is the heartbeat of NEAR’s story, giving rise to a three-part thesis that reads more like a roadmap for the future than a mere checklist.
1. NEAR’s sharded blockchain architecture, which is the original product envisioned from the start. Near currently boasts of no downtimes with 9 shards live, and is looking to scale up on demand to 100 shards in the coming years.
2. NEAR Intents is a universal cross-chain trading layer with significant room to expand into stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, and broader on-chain commerce. The thesis also emphasizes future fee capture and potential token demand mechanisms that could strengthen value accrual as trading volumes increase.
3. Private AI ecosystem. With privacy being a priority, the integration of private, user-owned AI agents capable of transacting on-chain is positioned as a transformative opportunity that could unlock exponential growth in the years to come.
The $NEAR infrastructure has set it up for exponential growth, and the only way from here is up. The question is, WILL YOU BE THERE?
It is easy to pass this judgement when you aren't in their shoes.
Overworked, disrespected, and underpaid(HOs have still not been paid their May salaries, other workers will be paid their June salaries this week).
They are used more as potters, phlebotomists, nurses, and lab scientist.
So forgive them for refusing to accept the norm, for refusing to kill themselves, and putting their health and welfare first.
@enodamade It runs deeper than the people in charge of these systems; that is why, despite changing hands and personnel over the years, the results are the same.
@_niyeeei Some Nigerian doctors(House officers) earn much less than this for a day's work(24 hours sometimes) and still have to beg for their salaries.
@MukhtarK87@AbrahamOkah2 Do your research, pick something that is interesting you and stick to it. It is good to see more medical students willing to pick up other skills.
