I wanted to add something, a good detail about his determination is that fact that if you lose the final fight he doesn’t even kill you, because he ultimately knows Asgore has to leave if he really wants him to get better. His determination is facetious

Lastly Flowery is supposed to be determination. Flowey has determination in undertale. And it’s why Flowery loses, much like the other flowers he’s only pretending to be human. He lacks the real determination to stop you.
