Our multilevel English Program has helped over 1,000 adult learners in our community learn English, which leads to feeling more comfortable in their new community and better, higher paying jobs to sustain themselves and their families.

The Branch of Nashville is a community organization with a dedicated team of staff, volunteers, supporters, students, clients, and community members who join together to help the Southeast Nashville community thrive.

The Branch was nominated to benefit from Mayor John Cooper's Shop Small Nashville initiative, which supported small businesses and local nonprofits.

"Beautiful people are doing beautiful things for The Branch, even remotely," says The Branch's Volunteer Manager, Deciria. Peggy and her group made gorgeous encouragement cards for our clients. We put them in their grocery carts. For many of them, it made their day. <3

In addition 80+ pounds of fresh, nutritious food, we also give clients cleaning and hygiene products. We know that in addition to food, these items are important to the safety and well being of our neighbors.

Today, we want to recognize Miss Gretchen in our volunteer "Spotlight." Miss Gretchen comes to The Branch every single week to help put together food boxes for our Afghan Welcome project. We are so thankful she is a part of our Branch family.
