The Tasmania Prison Service (TPS) has agreed to distributing reports and flyers (https://t.co/JRXQtJNl1Y) for prisoner education. This will enable prisoners access to education and help reduce the rate of recidivism.
(2/3) The Community Justice Coalition has gained the support of Director, Mr Ian Thomas in order to encourage prisoners to enrol in education courses. These courses are offered by @SCUonline, University of South Queensland and @CurtinUni.
Access to education is now available for prisoners regardless of where they are, or their previous educational experience.
