@ASHI9R@Cacophanus Really? I think Sonoda’s most famous works among anime fans I know in the west are Bubblegum Crisis and Gunsmith Cats, so that’s surprising. Maybe it has to do with how and when things became accessible or available translated in America.

@G0ffThew This arc was teased in the promo art for Season 2 and chronologically should have gone there. I think they might have done some of this work during the Season 2 production cycle and realized that they didn’t have enough time and pushed it back.
