I have a friend in manufacturing, he deals with an openly hostile labour dept, employment laws, bad staff with tenure, trade unions, a government who has essentially incentivised the import of Chinese goods & large portion of the SA public not buying local goods

@Paratus2014 The real question is: what has the ANC government done to encourage local manufacturing? Business unfriendly toxic labour laws & militant trade unions, the ANC have created an environment where its more efficient & cheaper to import than to manufacture locally.
