@PrairiePhlox I was an EMT for 10 years. The scariest thing I saw in that time was a TBI. The guy had a slow speed bicycle crash and hit his head.
For the whole ride to the trauma center he'd repeat the same 10 questions.
It freaked me out and I started wearing a helmet.
@indexnforgetit The other day I needed a specific wrench for my garbage disposal. Lowes had one for 15.99 Ace had it for 16.49. My spouse went in showed them the link I sent her and was out in under 10 minutes. That would have been a 30 minute minimum experience at Lowes.
@TheHaplessFan I'm enjoying your b5 updates. Some podcasters I enjoy did an episode by episode walkthrough with a spoilers/no spoilers split.
If you're in the Doctor Who fandom you may recognize some of them. https://t.co/QsKjKhVc6s
@SlovenlyTrulls If you want to try wargaming in an inclusive environment check out Battletech. It's a game that has everything.
Robots punching other robots.
Robots shooting other robots.

@ehloanna I've been playing RPG's and the occasional war-game since the late 80's and I understand loving the lore of a system. Like you said the way we think, write and create has changed over the years. Retcons are a natural part of the process.
@sewistwrites Not a re-read then it would be either
Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs - Molly Harper (Urban Fantasy)
Breaking the Chains of Gravity - Amy Shira Teitel(Non-Fiction Pre-Nasa History)
I realized after 2016 that I needed a lot more diverse voices in my life and I'm better for it.
@HeatherAntos When I was a kid in the 80's the fast food restaurants were distinct and Mickey D's quality wasn't great in my area. BK was more convenient and better, nowadays not a chance.
Roy Rodgers was great but, gone by the late 80's unless you're on the PA turnpike.
@katelynmbecker Becky Chambers "Galactic Commons" series. Each book is stand alone but, take place in the same universe. She could rewrite the phone book and I'd read it.
