tracing IS looked down in the community when someone traces ANOTHER artist's work and then claims it as their OWN work
THAT i can agree with
but using 3d models, photobashing, photos, etc to ASSIST in making your OWN original work? that being looked down on?
nah man
@meeyans You described the exact thing I'm going through right now! It's hard finding motivation to do the things I want to do when life feels so hard right now and work zaps my energy. 🫠
You're welcome! I'm happy if I could cheer you up and I'm looking forward to it! 😁
once I master colour theory and anatomy and line art and composition and story telling and value and lighting and rendering and texture and perspective and environment design ,it's over fo you guys 🙏🏾
@meeyans No problem! I hope it all works out and that you'll be able to enjoy the result!! I go through the same things and it's honestly random what helps when you know what to look for! 😆👍🏾
Embrace bad drawings. You'll inevitably make a lot of them. They tell you what to work on. If you listen and learn, your average drawing will improve, but you'll still make bad drawings.
You won't ever "win" at art, but you can continually improve. That's how you really win.
The lion doesn't learn how to draw circles, boxes, anatomy, perspectives, lighting/shading, and color theory. The lion has not idea what he's doing and proceeds to rawdogging every drawing.
