@porridgepoetry Our sauerkraut is unpasteurised meaning it is still full of live probiotic bacteria. These probiotic bacteria produce bubbles when out the fridge which can lead to carbonation and fizziness. Use your senses though - it shouldn’t smell or taste bad or off. Hope this helps!
