@BlueJaysDad I definitely think he should get rest days here and there, but with one month left I donโt think itโd be wise to sit him for another extended period. Heโs showing leadership that an inexperienced team can thrive off of
@BlueJaysDad I have to disagree - if the trainers are adamant that the knee canโt be hurt more you gotta let him gut it out. I believe heโs inspiring most of the younger guys and motivating them by staying in. Heโs putting his body on the line, let the young boys back him up
@AdamGeorge8@seewebbin26@bnicholsonsmith@fangraphs In what way did this team indicate that they wanted to be sellers at the start of the season? This is a ridiculously dense take. Pearson and Hatch were both planned to be essential parts of the rotation, and both got injured. Pearson especially.
@seewebbin26@bnicholsonsmith@fangraphs First off, spell his name right. Second, they got Ryu last year and got Robbie Ray essentially for free. Semienโs contract was very clearly a โprove itโ deal and he just so happened to prove himself out of our price range. This is such a dense take in more than one way.
The Yankees farm system is probably going to be in the top 10 or close to by the end of the year. Their core is also still relatively young. The idea that the Yankees, of all teams, have a closing window, is emphatically stupid. Should they make changes? Sure maybe it's time.
