On this morning's edition of BBC Breakfast, our @CRTWestMidlands Director of Operations, Henriette Breukelaar, confirmed that this nation's canals are better than those in Amsterdam. ๐
Remembering the day we renamed a bridge along the canal in #Birmingham after the iconic band @BlackSabbath. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of @OzzyOsbourne at this sad time.
Congratulations to the 22 Society Fellows who were recently awarded Chartered Geographer status, the only internationally recognised accreditation for geographers!

Back at Hatton Locks open weekend!! Drier than yesterday but bitter cold. Got to see the bottom of another lock!! Another one to add to my collection!! This one was built in the 1930โs when the Grand Union Canal was widened, so a much later lock than Iโm used to @CanalRiverTrust
A very wet day at Hatton Locks open day. We are back there tomorrow, so come down if you want to:
See what @CanalRiverTrust get up to on a lock stoppage.
Walk into the bottom of a canal lock.
