Dexter Taylor isn’t a dangerous man, nor is he a criminal. However, the State of New York and the NYPD, under the direction of District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, treated him as though he were one.
District Attorney Gonzalez said, “Ghost guns are a threat to New Yorkers everywhere, and my Office is working tirelessly with our partners in law enforcement to stop their proliferation. Today’s sentence should send a message to anyone who, like this defendant, would try to evade critically important background checks and registration requirements to manufacture and stockpile these dangerous weapons. Every ghost gun we take off the street is a win for public safety
Yall take some time if you can and check out Dangerous Liberty Podcast featuring our friend and political prisoner #DexterTaylor, hear his story and how it’s unfolding currently. There’s no reason for this man to be in prison other than bureaucratic bloated nonsense and administrative idiocy that put this man in prison, a peaceable citizen who never earned that jacket.
@gunrights Dexter will be joining us on the Dangerous Liberty Podcast with @paramounttactcl tonight at 8 pm for part 1 of a 4 part series. Hope to see you there!
An innocent New York man still remains behind bars. His crime? Assembling firearms in his own home.
Not murder. Not trafficking. A simple hobby put this man behind bars for 10 years.
His name is Dexter Taylor.
During his trial, Judge Abena Darkeh proudly stated:
“Do not bring the Second Amendment into this courtroom. It doesn’t exist here. So you can’t argue Second Amendment. This is New York.”
We reached out to Dexter, who remains unjustly imprisoned, and had a powerful conversation with him.
Tune in Thursday.
Come listen to this story… Everyone needs to hear this and decide. Decide if we are ok with putting citizens like this in prison.. for not purchasing a license.
