Ok, I understand people like to throw around "death penalty" because they think it means somthing but here's what it REALLY means:

- A case that takes SEVERAL decades instead of years, delaying actual justice and allowing victims/families to move on
- a segregated section away from gen pop where prison justice won't be served
- MILLIONS and MILLIONS more in taxpayer dollars both fighting the case AND in housing
- potential overturned death penalty law which will just change to a life sentence anyway and all that time wasted...

IMO I believe death is more of a gift...
