Very much miss when the internet/online was a place you “went” instead of something that’s just constant and always there. Literally logging on and off made things so different and now you just never really log off. 🙃
@RogueMogh Yes, but also no. I’m the “talks too much about politics” guy here whereas at home I was considered as barely talking about it. It’s hard to have a conversation about it here because everyone is either STRONG blue, STRONG red, or apolitical
One of the biggest culture shocks about moving to the west coast from the DMV is how little people talk about politics here. Sure, right now during election season it’s happening, but I never realized how much politics was a topic of conversation in my life until I left the DMV
My #1 “younger millennial” trait is I am young enough that playing video games is a lifelong hobby of mine but old enough that I have absolutely no desire to play online against strangers.
