@9sbsbsb@naiivememe Jozi, Sophia Town times. Men had "outside clothes" well put together, the ladies would dress in simple and modest clothes, and being in shape was enough, across the board. The dudes would drip, to be seen. And ladies would dress to not be seen. At home, they found a middle ground
Women don't want character. They want CASH.
If women really cared about character, successful women would be lining up to marry broke guys, construction workers, and janitors.
When was the last time you saw a female CEO marry a broke dude flipping burgers because he has "good character"? NEVER.
Broke girl wants a rich man.
Rich girl wants a RICHER man.
It's never about character. It's about MONEY. Always has been.
Men are single because women think having a vagina is enough. No self-work. No effort to understand men.
And that's why they're mad.
If men were marrying just for sex, every prostitute would be a wife by now.
A man can get sex with no wedding, no bills, no responsibility of feeding and housing a woman.
No serious man marries for sex.
He marries for peace. For loyalty. For children. For a home. For a woman he can actually build a life with.
That's why the men who STILL want marriage in this generation aren't looking for a body. Bodies are cheap.
They're looking for character. And most of you don't have it.
20 years ago, on this very corner cars would get impounded, and drivers arrested because this was illegal and a reckless pass time. This month on this corner a brother was being celebrated for taking it from the Kasi all the way to Croatia and many other parts of the world.🔥🔥
Every time I see couples who have been married for more than 20 years, I ask myself:
How many times did they have to forgive each other?
How many arguments did they have that nobody else knew about?
How many financial problems did they survive together?
How many times did they think about divorce?
How many seasons did they go through where the love faded but they still stayed?
Because staying married for 20+ years isn't about having a perfect relationship.
It's about two imperfect people surviving different versions of life together, raising children, losing people they love, dealing with money issues, watching their bodies change, making mistakes, forgiving each other and somehow continuing to choose the same person.
When you see an old couple holding hands, you're probably looking at decades of stories that nobody outside that marriage will ever fully know.
I salute you guys who have hit that milestone.
