So, if you simply your garden, don’t spend a fortune on lumber for raised beds, and source your fertilizers locally (compost heaps, get manure from a neighboring farm), and commit to maintaining it for the long term the urban impact would be completely negligible.

However, every pregnancy is different - but if she was allowed to fly I am guessing it wasn’t a high risk and therefore she would have been capable of picking up the mess.
