@LenMacPT I tell HS/college students the same thing I tell anyone making a big decision. Research it, understand what it can do for you, understand what you’d like to do with it, look at the financial implications so you can plan for it, shadow different areas, and go from there
@FedExHelp why do your delivery drivers always deliver packages to my trash cans? Is this standard procedure? My front porch is actually a closer walk than the garage. I don’t understand
@NickHoopes_ I’m good with sling use, but we also see them POD 1 to get started with recovery. Research indicates long terms outcomes are comparable with early vs delayed start but anecdotally the ones that start early have it a heck of a lot easier then the delayed ones
@kcrehabguy I agree. I prefer really strong and strong as well. Strength is only a snapshot in the continuum but I’m not as concerned if the involved limb peak tq/bw is sufficient. Often hard to catch the uninvolved if they are blowing it out of the water. Strong, moves well, & confident 💪🏼
@kcrehabguy I knew what you meant and have seen you in clinic. It just sparked the question. I do a lot of isokinetic testing for our surgeons on people I don’t rehab. Sometimes I wonder is it better to be very strong and strong with large asymmetry or middle of the road and symmetrical.
@NickHoopes_ The correct answer is Cindy has a UCL problem or valgus extension overload that will likely lead to a UCL problem if she doesn’t strengthen and regain adequate control of the entire arm with heavy shoulder emphasis 🙂
