It’s kind of unfair.
When an artist has an issue with a commissioner, they can go public with it, and a lot of people will see it and probably side with them.
But when a commissioner gets scammed by an artist, almost no one hears about it. ⬇️⬇️
We don't have the same visibility because we're not influencers or in the spotlight.
If an artist runs into a problem, they lose time, but they’ve usually been paid at least half upfront, so it’s just a bad experience most of the time.
@PleasedByViolet People might think it's easy because the people they follow make it seem that way. But what they don't realize is the amount of time, equipment, and effort it actually takes. And let's not forget about the years it takes to get better and to build a community around yourself.
