Seeing Huntley’s filled in successfully before, but without Jackson’s dual-threat, threat the Ravens’ offense loses its signature explosiveness against a Falcons defense that can force mistakes. #Ravens

Smith at No. 1 places a statement. When a wide receiver grades and produces at this level, there’s no choice for a Heisman conversation but to follow.

PFF’s Heisman Trophy Rankings

1. Jeremiah Smith
2. Darian Mensah
3. CJ Carr
4. Keelon Russell
5. Trinidad Chambliss

@AdamSchefter Expecting williams’ activation after two strong weeks of practice shows how Shanahan’s patience is paying off. So are we expecting the first-round edge to bring a needed physical presence to a thin front against Seattle?

[NFL Desk @The_NFLDesk]

@RapSheet Jayden Daniels locked in is a real win for Washington. While Stefon Diggs being out stings the WR depth, but McLaurin trending the right way still gives them a little bit of shot at keeping the offense sharp against the Giants.

@pgsween Familiar face who already knows the system, the culture, and how to win there; smart, low-risk depth move if the price is right.

The Chiefs are among several teams interested in WR Justin Watson, per source.

Watson played for Kansas City from 2022-24 and is a three-time Super Bowl champion, having beaten the Chiefs with the Bucs before being part of their back-to-back title teams.

@jeffzrebiec Solid update for the Ravens secondary. Humphrey’s return from the hamstring/calf issue should help restore some of the lockdown presence and versatility that unit has missed.

@MikeGarafolo @ProFootballHOF Iron Mike didn’t just play the game, he redefined the tight end and then coached the Bears to immortality. A rare force who won at every level.

@NFLMemes He was an ICON!!

Desk Note — Mike Ditka, 86

First tight end in the Hall.
Bears, 1961. Rookie of the year. First at the position to clear 1,000.

Coach, 1982 to 1992.
Seven playoff trips. Super Bowl XX.

The record is the note.
The family asked for the rest. RIP LEGEND! 🤍🕊️

[NFL Desk @The_NFLDesk]

@davebftv They’ve got to get a win Sunday as a sign of respect to Ditka!

[NFL Desk @The_NFLDesk]

@davebftv Rest Easy, Legend! 🕊️ 🤍

[NFL Desk @The_NFLDesk]

A true iron man who redefined the tight end position as a Hall of Famer and delivered the Bears their only Super Bowl as Da Coach. Rest in peace, Mike Ditka. 🕊️ 🤍
