Title- Poor Village (English version)

In a poor village lived a very "rich" family.

However, the strange thing was that they didn't even have two meals a day. They worked hard all day as daily wage laborers to somehow manage one meal a day. But one day, their fortunes were about to change. An industrialist arrived in the village, looking for land for his factory.

He announced that he would buy the villagers' land at four times the market price and would also provide for their food and drink until the paperwork was completed. When the family heard this, they were overjoyed.

Suddenly, the family—which previously struggled to even afford one meal—was enjoying mutton and chicken three times a day.

Meanwhile, the paperwork was complete, and only the villagers' signatures were awaited. Before the documents were finalized, the industrialist hosted a drinking party for the entire village that night. The villagers and the family drank to their heart's content and danced and sang all night long.

But when morning came, no one had returned home; some were lying in the village field, some in drains or streams, and others were found in cattle pens. The industrialist had secretly left during the night; he had obtained the villagers' signatures and transferred the land to his name.

The villagers were distraught, realizing they had lost their land for nothing. But then, everyone received a message that ₹1 crore had been deposited in their accounts. A wave of joy swept through everyone, and the "rich" family had finally become truly wealthy.
