It was an amazing pleasure to meet Yaro and Jaymee last night!
Askarov was SO sweet, gave me the biggest hug, and was kind enough to sign my jersey 🥰.
Overall it was an amazing night-big win AND getting to meet Asky! I know Lil’ Asky and Bender are in good hands! #fullstrength
A special surprise for Andrei Vasilevskiy! 🏆 #NHLAwards

This is an organization with a great history and a very bright future, and I am thrilled to be a part of it. Chris Johnston: Re Sharks #2 overall pick: They're at a position where they think that they're taking flight here; they're a team that maybe doesn't necessarily need another high end prospect; they can be more open to those conversations - Chris Johnston Show (5/28)
Elliotte Friedman: Re Chris MacFarland hiring/Predators: They said what's it gonna take and they got it done; the gossip...is that he got a 6 year deal - 32 Thoughts (6/3)
Main takeaways from the MacFarland press conference.
1. Nashville and Colorado had a back and forth negotiation. Preds always had upper hand (promotion, more $) so in the end, Avs gave in and let CM go. They didn’t have to do that, btw (looking at you Vegas)
MacFarland says there's a lot to consider with the current Predators roster. Wants to really dive in to see what the prospects look like, but isn't ready to analyze what kind of work there is to be done yet.
He did add "there is the danger that we're in the mushy middle"
