Part #2: DC Reflecting Pool
The pool now serves as a perfect reflection of the current administration and its movement: a swamp full of incompetent fools and frauds—artificial, fake, and entirely devoid of anything honest or organic. They fear and despise intelligence because it threatens the fleeting sense of superiority they cling to, despite being profoundly lacking in it themselves. Ones who desecrate everything and try to claim they are patriotic. I will not entertain being lectured by people who have no experience or education on things they speak on who continue to defend a cognitively impaired pathalogical lying narcissistic sociopath and pedophile rapist wannabe despot with a rapidly declining mental state. They're not serious people and it's just gross and insulting. That is the brutal truth and reality. If you can't accept that, I'm sorry, I will not legitimaze stupidity as a legitimate point of view worth debating for anyone. From here on out when it comes to things I am infinitely more educated on in conversation with someone, I will verbally pummel them no matter who it is. No more coddeling igorance. A wise man once told me, "You can't fix stupid and you can't cure ugly" and there's never been a more true statement in this era.
GTFO with that BS. I'm tired of being nice to idiocracy.
Psrt #1: DC Reflecting Pool
Hi, been waiting for this one. As someone who is a professional in aquatic systems—both natural and artificial—who works on government contracts and specializes in high-performance coatings for concrete structures in wastewater and potable water systems, I can say that the people responsible for this reflecting pool appear to be incompetent and were not qualified for the job. Everything out of this administration is a damn lie.
The project should not have cost not even half of what was charged for the coating application used. Also, when you attempt to kill algae with peroxide, it only affects the area dirctly treated because peroxide dissipates almost instantly. The coating system used was clearly inappropriate for the application, or it was not properly prepared, bonded, or cured. After a properly engineered surface preparation process, including GPR verification of the existing structure, a coating should not peel off in this manner. If you needed any evidence they have no clue what they are doing, look no further than the fact the coating system they use was basically for truck bed liners and easily compromised by heavy oxidized substances like hydrogen peroxide.
Because the coating was not properly bonded / cured, and potentially because the wrong product was selected, chemicals may have leached into the water, further fueling algae growth while allowing water to infiltrate beneath the coating system. A high-performance Tnemec coating system, combined with an efficient bonding / curing agent and a minimum 30-day cure period with the structure kept empty, would have been a far more appropriate approach. Hell, even a liner system at this point. No amount of vandalism could remove a properly installed coating for this application underwater if done correctly. If you believe otherwise you're just wrong and being willfully ignorant to not acknowledge it.
In my opinion, the pool should have remained natural, utilizing a quality water sealer, an inline UV sterilizer, and phosphate-removal / organic matter removal, denitrifying system. A biological-mechanical treatment strategy is superior to a strictly mechanical one in this type of application. Why? Because you have constant organic matter from animals such as ducks that will constantly poop / pee in the water, trees that will drop leaves and break down into organic matter and it's supposed to be a reflecting pool, to reflect the sky, the monuments and the country, not a damn cartoonish swimming pool that doesn't reflect anything but the transparency of this corrupt adminstration. But we all know this movement has 0 understanding for what symbolism actually is and 0 self reflection.
Additionally, when you fill an enclosure with large volumes of nutrient-rich municipal tap water during peak summer sunlight, algae growth is virtually guaranteed. Tap water contains phosphates and other nutrients from degrading piping like heavy metals, which feed algae. The system should have been filled with RO (reverse osmosis) water stripped of nutrients if you were going with the strictly chemical / mechanical route . Had that been done, many of these problems likely would never have occurred.
The entire situation is so comically stupid and transparent that it looks like money laundering disguised as a public works project benefiting a donor. The fact that it was reportedly a corrupt, no-bid contract—about as far from capitalism as one can get—only makes it more fitting. The irony that of the most corrupt administration ever to hold US office now has a reflecting pool that resembles a swamp, falling apart and maintained by a company literally named "Green Water," is karma at its finest. The reality is some algae was inevitable, but mitigated if done properly and never been at this scale. what's not debatable is the coating system failing. The company should be sued into oblivion for incompetentance as I would be in any government contract!

@NetflixIsAJoke Let me rephrase one of his terrible jokes he recycled. Donald Trumps signature looks like Tony's heart monitor after he drops a punchline and crickets can be heard. 😆 🤣 😂
@NetflixIsAJoke Holy shit, did anyone else watch that comedic terorrism? He was a unibomber up on that stage completely bombing by himslef. 😆 🤣 😂 That was so bad it made @joerogan look funny. The Rogansphere is literally bleeding out on the floor. Tony is terrible and not funny.
@OddAshheart@JoJoFromJerz 😆 and you're not on grinder like every republican "man" 🙄 ya'll are the ones who don't know what a women is because a majority think you're gross.
@Beast_M0de_hmd@waylensgranny@iFightForKids Just like chud, you're most likely a self hating closet case. You're fucking pathetic losers. Every accusation is a confession with you weirdos. EVERY DAMN TIME. 😆
