‘Melissophobia’ is a fear of bees.
‘Mel’ is Latin for “honey.”
The name, ‘Melissa,’ comes from the Greek word for “honeybee.”
In Greek mythology, Melissa was a nymph who fed the infant Zeus honey instead of milk. Later, the gods turned her into a bee (spoiler alert).
@dsgill87 It makes less than zero sense why they don't play preseason games all throughout the Carolinas. Not just Charlotte and Greensboro, go to Charleston too
@PSLToFlushing@SNYtv@JimDuquetteGM Could you see Stearns do a little bit of buying *and* selling? Something like sending out Freddy Peralta (pending FA) and then trading for Sandy Alcantara (cost controlled for another couple of years) feels like it would make some sense
@SteveGelbs@SNY_Mets What happened to @ZachLowe_NBA? I got the tickets for tonight because he was throwing out the first pitch (and obvs didn’t check the weather)

@dsgill87 Thank for you saying this. I was annoyed by the situation, but the dude was also here for like a week and was sick the whole time, can't really be still upset a year later that dude didn't wanna commit to an extension
there's not an elected official in America, regardless of side of aisle, who could meet a moment like this better than he. Legit sports fan having a great day at work.

I don’t know how you can look at the #Panthers QB room and think a 4th round flier on Brendan Sorsby isn’t worth it. At that point, the upside greatly exceeds the downside. They’ve used higher picks on worse players.
