@Cliff_Jones11@SpursOfficial Very sad news Cliff. I played with Dennis for a short while at Watford before he signed for Spurs. He was a very good player and a great character. Sincere condolences to his family RIP
I received the very sad news this week of the passing of the great Fred Potter. Fred kept goal for Hereford United during the golden period for the club in the early 1970’s.
Love and condolences to Fred’s loving family.
RIP top man 🥲
@dabberuk Hi Rob,I hope you are well. It’s a long time since Motty and I spoke at dinner engagements that you arranged for us. I miss him badly as you can imagine. I am always available if for any reason you have been let down.
Take care mate, all the best.
Ricky
@harry_medwin@Cliff_Jones11@SpursOfficial Two great gentlemen and great players. It was a privilege to have been at White Hart Lane in the early sixties and to have known them. Always kind and helpful to the youngsters
I’m very sad to report the passing of Alan Jones, another Hereford United legend. Jonah, along with the late Mike McLaughlin, formed the Welsh rock at the centre of our tremendous defence and continued to do so for many years. RIP great man😢
@execandy It was at Westfields , at your kind invitation, that our double act kicked off Andy. When I asked him if he would do it he said “as long as you do it with me”.
Despite his amazing talent behind the mic 🎤, he was quite shy at times. Cheers Andy
The world of football has woken to the terrible news of the passing of my great friend John Motson. Life will never be the same again, the unmistakable voice has been stilled but will always be in our hearts. RIP Motty ❤️
@KeithHallSport So sorry to hear about your Mum Keith. Motty’s professionalism inspired a generation of broadcast journalists, like yourself. We both benefited from his friendship. He was a truly great friend and said many times that Hereford would always be in his heart. ❤️❤️
“What a goal!!! Ronnie Radford!!!” “The Crazy Gang have beaten the Culture Club!” “Ohhh, this is getting better and better and better. 1, 2, 3 for Michael Owen!" "He's off! It's red! It's Zidane! You can't excuse that!" Thanks for all the memories, Motty. We’ll miss you. RIP.
What a desperately sad week for sports broadcasting. Thoughts with his family and friends. Thanks, Motty, for helping to put Hereford on the map all those years ago #ripmotty
Harry Kane’s never let his country down. He’s captain, a model pro and easily the best English striker around atm. He’s just equalled Rooney’s #ENG goal record of 53 (from 80 games). He also helps fund facilities and coaching for kids. Kane does a lot for his country. #BRETOT

@Cliff_Jones11 RIP big man, another kind, friendly Spurs legend. Wonderful wedding photo including the greatest squad of players ever to grace White Hart Lane , how privileged we were.
I am sad to report the passing of the great Ronnie Radford, a man with a heart as big as Wembley stadium. Immortalised by his sensational goal for Hereford United against Newcastle United in 1972, Ronnie’s name will be enshrined in FA Cup folklore forever. Love you top man ❤️
