We're back!
Listen as we discuss the 93rd Year of the Best Animated Short category, including In the Shadow of the Cypress.
The Academy made me suffer for four damn years with their awful winners and now I can finally FEAST on some GOOD FUCKING FOOD!!

Yes, I am still doing this! I care about my fan (Christof, the Foreverguest) too much to ever stop.
Here's an artistic rendition of our relationship (I'm the tree)

Finally able to see all the shortlisted animated shorts for this coming Oscars. Here's my ranking, for those curious.
(As for my predictions: Percebes, Crab in the Pool, Me, A Bear Named Wojtek, and The 21, with one of the bad ones winning.)

I'm realizing I'm probably not going to get the energy back to start the podcast up again, at least not in the near future. Not saying it's never coming back, but I think the specific time frame of doing Best Animated Short fueled me towards an end.
I'm a person who tends to prefer tasks with specific goals and endings. That's why I could keep going with the BAS podcast. But, especially after going on hiatus for the summer, it's incredibly difficult to get back into the podcasting mode. I can't bring myself to write.
Listen to @JudgeRoySnyder and I play BIG BROTHER: BEST ANIMATED SHORT.
This is just a bit of fun while the hiatus goes on. 12 characters enter the House, and we try to decide who wins what, who votes out who, and who eventually wins BIG BROTHER!

Decided I'd post these spreadsheets compiling the season into a visual form. First is the complete voting history and the second picture is just a week by week summary.
If you wanna hear about how these players won comps or why they voted the way they did, listen below!

12. Kobe Bryant (Dear Basketball)
A dominant physical threat, and with enough charisma to succeed socially too. But, like with Gromit, these obvious strengths could also be his downfall.
Strengths: Being a world famous athlete
Weaknesses: Being a world famous athlete.

11. Ronald McDonald (Logorama)
Not the mascot you know and love, but instead the wanted criminal from this short film. A total wild card, will start many fights, everyone will hate him, but that could be enough to keep him around.
Strengths: ?
Weaknesses: ?
