Our words matter
Since starting the little love heart post it notes activity, little did I realise just how much my youngest looks forward to seeing and reading them on her door. I dont know if its seeing a visible message but it really does light up her face.
You never know how helpful these spur of the moment conversation can be with children.
It's an outlet. Somewhere to talk about how they are feeling and a safe place to offload any worries around Covid.

Let Them Be 💛
Let's step aside and encourage them to express themselves in their own unique way.
Let them wear the mismatched outfits.
Let them try lots of activities
Let them get messy.
Let them be loud or quiet.
Let them think, feel and express

This #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek, we want to give praise to every parent in the UK supporting their child through this pandemic. We know what you’re going through. We hear your stories every day. Your resilience is inspirational - but don't feel you have to go through this alone.
To mark the start of #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek, The Duchess of Cambridge has sent a message of support encouraging children and parents to find ways to share their thoughts and feelings, particularly during such a challenging time. 💛

Let's get our children sharing how they feel more. By doing so we can ho them to understand that all emotions matter and are necessary.
Let's help them name and tame the unwanted emotions.
