Somebody said “Respect is allowing your partner to clarify what they meant instead of deciding what they meant and arguing against an intention they never had.” And I like that shit

@JiggaDyeahyeah To be fair, having anime figures in your house doesn’t mean you’re idolizing those anime characters.

So EA thought it made financial sense to cancel a game that’s rumored to be 80% done with a late 2027 release (millions already invested) and instead invest MORE millions for a game that hasn’t started and will likely take 4-5 years to be released…genius move by EA…

Development on ‘STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT 3’ has not begun yet.

EA chose to invest in ‘Battlefront 3’ instead of a new ‘Mass Effect’ game and shut down BioWare as a result.

@JuanEditzs @random_stuff_x_ None of this is a lie though. When did DC or Gunn say there was a trailer coming in December?

[Chris Cruz @YoChrisCruz]

Absolute Batman is the product of a mass shooting. Superman is fighting corporations abusing laborers. Wonder Woman is practicing radical empathy.

This is a new era of @DCOfficial.

Read the feature with the creators & fans @RollingStone

@mckee618 @relientkenny NFL denied those sources saying Drake turned it down.

Ppl have to understand that comic knowledge is niche. I also know someone that thought Clayface and Two Face were the same because both have “face” in the name. Please understand the average person does not know as much as you think because it’s not their hobby.

I have a middle aged coworker that has been reading indie comics for decades and he never knew there was multiple Lanterns until the show came out 💀 He loved the show and picked up Geoff John’s Lantern run and John Stewart’s War Journal.

Its kind of funny how quickly become engulfed in their own bubble. "How is John Stewart a small/unknown character?" My brother in christ the average person doesnt even know that Green Lantern isnt just one dude

[James @The_Source_Plug]

@A_A_Leeder The average moviegoer didn’t know about Marvel Loki until Avengers 1. When MCU Loki arrived, he was not a fan beloved character as he is today with the casual audience. That’s the comparison to Peacemaker. Casual ppl didn’t know him until TSS and his tv show.

@Willisisthere Your misunderstanding. Ur the first that brought up “ownership”. Funding and ownership are separate. You can own your records but still receive financial backing. Also, Brian never said you NEED a label to promote music. Also, clearly Bunny needs Sony too or why split $ with Sony

[James @The_Source_Plug]

@Funky5Sam51 @TheBatBroYo @adobeats1 @BlackMajikMan90 Not necessarily. MCU formula isn’t the only correct way to do stuff because look at the long term consequences. Too many characters and content caused a negative/neutral sentiment among ppl. Not saying DCU is better approach because it’s still new BUT it is promising alternative.

[James @The_Source_Plug]

@Funky5Sam51 @adobeats1 Exactly. Multiverse saga has maybe 6 movies max that are “required” viewing. But most ppl don’t wanna figure out which. I think that started because fans were told you don’t need to watch the shows to understand the movies. Then MOM came out and fans wondered why Wanda was bad

[James @The_Source_Plug]

@WesleyMouch3 @CoachCaroline lol they weren’t hoping to be offended bro. Most humans aren’t hoping to be offended 😂 we just know certain comedians think racism = humor. Once she heard the punchline she was fine with it, and so was I.

[James @The_Source_Plug]

@Funky5Sam51 @adobeats1 @BlackMajikMan90 I see ur point but MCU and DCU are different. If you don’t watch ANY of the movies post Endgame, you would be confused about Doomsday ‘cus MCU is built on every movie revealing something important. DCU is like comics. Start anywhere and if you want more, read what came before.

[James @The_Source_Plug]

@adobeats1 @Funky5Sam51 @BlackMajikMan90 It can drive ppl to know more about John Stewart but as of this moment (because MOT isn’t out yet) that doesn’t mean Lanterns is required viewing. You don’t need to watch Superman to know who Guy is in Lanterns. But if you like him then check out Superman. Just like comics.

[James @The_Source_Plug]

@Willisisthere @BrianZisook @A10CHUN Brian’s OG point was that without a label (didn’t say signed with) then Olivia’s song wouldn’t get a 40M stream song w/o a marketing budget a label has. Your example of Bad Bunny further proves his point. Bad Bunny is funded by a label.
