💔💔💔💔It never ends... 💔💔💔💔
Yesterday, six puppies came into our care, and they are absolutely adorable. They simply needed help, and there was no way we could say no.💔❤️
These precious little ones are now safe with us. Over the coming days, they'll receive everything they need, vet checks, vaccinations, microchips, worming treatment, plenty of good food, lots of love, and all the care they deserve while we prepare them to find their forever homes.❤️
We couldn't stop thinking about what might have happened to them if no one had stepped in. Thankfully, they're safe now, and we'll do everything we can to make sure they never have to worry again.❤️
This is why we do what we do. We want to help as many animals as possible, especially vulnerable babies like these. But we can't do it without you.💔
Every single day brings more animals needing our help, along with vet bills, food costs, and ongoing care. Your support makes all of this possible.
If you're able to help, please consider making a donation today. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us give animals like these puppies the second chance they deserve.

From all of usand from these six little puppies, thank you so much for your kindness and support. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
#Butch is a small black lab missing since #Wednesday. Neighbours set off fireworks & he ran away. #Wexford please check sheds, barns as this #missingdog has a muzzle on. He won't be able to drink/eat.
💔💔FOUR LITTLE ORPHANS💔💔
Four tiny kittens came into our care this morning after their mum was tragically killed on the road.
The kind lady who found them brought them straight to us, and she'll be fostering them for the next couple of days while they get microchipped, checked over by the vet, and we make sure they're all happy and healthy.
These four little beauties deserve nothing but the very best, and in time we'll be looking for loving forever homes where they'll be treasured.
They're absolutely gorgeous, and we can't wait to share more with you. Once we've had a chance to get some videos and find out who's a boy and who's a girl, we'll post another update.
For now, the most important thing is that they're safe, warm, and surrounded by love.
❤️

💔 HEARTBROKEN… RIP BEAUTIFUL ABBEY 💔
Behind the keyboard warriors, the nasty comments, the rescuers daily life , is a heartbreak only some know💔 the loss of animal that has meant so much to so many😔
Amongst the happy endings, we all know there will be that day. A day in which we dread 😔
And yesterday was one of those days were age and health issues take control of the wheel.
Our beautiful Abbey💔
Our girl due to her age had been admitted recently to ucd veterinary hospital and diagnosed with wobblers syndrome, or Cervical Vertebral Stenotic Myelopathy (CVSM). It is a neurological condition where the spinal cord compression in the neck disrupts nerve signals to the limbs causing a swaying gait, stumbling, and hind-end weakness.
At the age of 23, we were devastated but we knew we could manage it as we have others that have come into our rescue with it to give them some quality of life, love and care after all they have been through. As it is a progress issue over time it is important to monitor the changes as some horses decline quicker then others 😔
In the time she was in ucd her balance and control over her own legs had declined to the point she would fall older even while standing still 😔
We spoke at length with our amazing vets at ucd because we didn't want to believe that there was no magic fix 💔 but we knew we had to make the most awful decision any animal lover has to make where their quality of life and health has to be put first over our need to never lose them💔
We spent hours with her yesterday letting her know how much she was loved❤️we seen for ourselves how much she had declined neurologicaly in such a short period of time and in moments were she looked like she forgot we were there we saw the exhaustion and struggle in her eyes and we knew it was time 😢 Time for her to rest and be at peace💔
Our Farm Queen keep watching over us
We'll miss you everyday
Rest now Abbeylicious
Please donate today, animals like Abbey need us, we promise to do all we can for each and every one of them 💔💔💔❤️❤️❤️

So grateful to every1 who has helped. If you haven't & can help, would appreciate 1 bale. The only thing surviving are the nettles here. Land here is over-grazed & not great anyway.A multi-animal sanctuary can be testing financially & the heatwave with costs of kitten season is 😭
🦔 Update on Honey (the painted hedgehog).
We are very sorry to say that Honey died this afternoon. We don’t normally post on here about the losses within the rescue but many people have been asking about her and her story has been shared across the country. We are still working with the local police so can not share any more details about her.
To say that I’m devastated is an understatement and I just cannot believe, or understand, what some people are capable of doing to any living thing. I know from some comments that people have found what happened to her as funny or commented that she’s ’only a hedgehog’ but it does not matter if this was done to hedgehog or cat or a dog or any other animal, it just should not have happen FULL STOP. It is CRUEL and a completely UNNECESSARY death.
Prickly Pigs Hedgehog Rescue is just run from our home and, together with a fantastic group of volunteers, we are trying our hardest to help sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs. It is an uphill battle that every wildlife rescue is the country is facing, hedgehogs are only on the Red List because of the problems that humans are causing. When are people going to stop and think about their actions and the impact they are having on nature?
Thank you to everyone that has made positive comments and are equally disgusted in what has happened. It’s times like this when I wonder what is the point of running the rescue. It’s a 24/7 job 365 days a year. On top of everything we are also currently fighting for the rescue to stay open as a couple of our neighbours are trying to get us shut down.
Apologies again for this ranting post but I just had to say it how it is sometimes.
Diane.

Another heartbreaking sight in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, poor horse found floating in the river.
With the recent hot weather, it's hard not to wonder if this horse was desperately searching for water, slipped into the river, and couldn't get back out. Whatever the exact circumstances, no animal should have to suffer like this.💔💔😡😡
The saddest part is that this isn't an isolated incident. Time and time again, we see horses left tied up for hours in blazing heat without access to water, shelter, or proper care. Animals are left to endure unbearable conditions because of neglect, and it's simply unacceptable.
Just imagine the fear and suffering this horse may have experienced before it died. It's absolutely heartbreaking, and no living creature deserves that.
Something has to change. We, as a country, have to do better. Animals cannot speak for themselves, they rely on us to protect them and ensure they are treated with kindness and respect.💔
The time for change isn't someday. The time for change is now.😡😡😡
@tribesmen_abu@offtheball Cyril couldn't care less about a payday. He's rightly worried about the future of hurling. It's the intercounty games that captivate boys and girls and now there's 6 weeks until school gets back and no GAA to capture their imagination
Over 2,000 cattle in that shipment and we see about 15 unloading. Those pregnant heifers look a bit slow and unsteady, one seems lame. The loading ramp is balanced on a truck, that's not very safe. We've complained about this twice already to @martinheydonfg but he doesn't care. No protection from the elements in those trucks. This industry is unnecessary and cruel.
I don’t post here much. But I’ll roll this grenade down the aisle: 2am testing is one of the very effective ways to prevent peptide(EPO,hGH) and testosterone micro dosing. If UCI had tested us in 2001 at 2am? We’d all have been suspended and saved the sport 25 years of drama.
