Before you set your foot onto the mountains, the real adventure begins on the road.
Starting our journey for Tasha la pass, we hit the road early in the morning from Muguthang to Naku (16500ft) which was our last road head for this trek.

Lachung town provides you with the most in terms of altitude, from hard, rocky cliffs to fast-moving streams.
I'll soon depart from Lachung and move on to Stage 2 at Zekuphyag (12500 feet), having finished my six-day Stage 1 acclimatisation
