@arrivamidlandsE Hello, Could I have an update on the 2 from Swadlincoat to Derby please? Was meant to arrive at 13:55 but has vanished from the board. Is it still on the way? Was the bus cancelled?
That time of year again to say goodbye to a batch of students. This year thats first students I ever taught
Definitely an emotional one but they've all smashed it and can't wait to see what they go on to do
Also shout-out to the film kids I taught this year. A whole other breed
So proud of my students today, just a regular lesson with a group filming activity but they're a super quiet class and instantly dread anything social or group-related
They absolutely crushed it and were all thriving out of their comfort zones
Makes the difficult times worth it
Today I got my first ever gift as a teacher.
I genuinely had to fight back tears. The thought and effort that have gone into this are incredible.
Even has some of the principles of animation around the edge π
Can't wait to see what this batch of students go off to do
Opening twitter today was a mistake.
Nottingham is a hub of diversity and it's only ever made the city far more vibrant and loving. Today small minded people have desecrated the memory of innocent people to push their small minded ideology.
Today has been genuinely awful. When I got into Nottingham this morning it was very clear it wasn't the usual incident that had police tape up. The whole city seemed sombre on the way into work.
The rest of the day was with very few students.
There were students terrified something else would hapoen, students scared they were trapped in the city because of the canceled transport, and students who just couldn't handle how senseless it was.
And not one of them stooped to the levels of speculating on or blaming race.
